This is an extremely rare piece. It is beautiful and intriguing. It was made in the early 20th century in the Caribbean islands, where town specialists customized residents' protection charms and jewelry. It is in amazing condition considering the age. Condition: Vintage Good. This early century custom-made necklace was designed to serve as protection against specific charms. Its origin is the Caribbean islands, and it was custom-made in the early 20th century, possibly as early as the 1920's. Protection charms included are three crosses, multiple coins, eye charms for protection, a praying man, and more. It has been in the same family for generations, and it was custom-made for a specific person. This rare piece is an amazing collectors' item reflecting early 20th-century Caribbean islands religious traditions.
